 24.11.2014 - Robots have started construction of a new Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics of the Czech Technical University in Prague for CZK 1.38 billion.

During this morning, there has been a ceremonial act of tapping on the foundation stone of the building of the Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics of the Czech Technical University in the premises of the Technical Canteen of the Czech Technical University in Prague – Dejvice. Besides the rector of the Czech Technical University prof. Petr Konvalinka, the director of the Institute prof. Vladimír Mařík, the Chairman of the Executive Board of the company HOCHTIEF CZ Ing. Tomáš Bílek and the Chairman of the Executive Board of the company VCES Ing. Zdeněk Pokorný, the ceremonial tapping was also attended by robots that the university uses for scientific, research and educational purposes. 

 18.11.2014 - Extended Ruská Street opens up Dolní oblast Vítkovice to the public

On Monday 17th November, the extended Ruská Street in the complex of Dolní oblast Vítkovice ceremonially opened up in participation of the Ostrava mayor Tomáš Macura, the Governor of Moravian and Silesian region Miroslav Novák, the director of the company Vítkovice Holding Jan Světlík and the Chairman of the Executive Board of the company HOCHTIEF CZ Tomáš Bílek.   

 14.11.2014 - The company HOCHTIEF CZ has established a new division

The construction company HOCHTIEF CZ entered the last quarter of the year with a new division Asset Management which will be managed by Ing. Zbyněk Malý. The division was created by integration of a separate company of HOCHTIEF CZ Facility Management, s.r.o. and brings the turnover of CZK 50 million and almost a hundred employees

 5.11.2014 - The largest division of the construction company HOCHTIEF CZ is managed by Marek Čepela

As of 1 October 2014, Ing. Marek Čepela has been appointed the Director of Division Building Bohemia of the company HOCHTIEF CZ. He has replaced Ivan Havel who left the company after eight years

 23.10.2014 - Medical students from Ostrava begin the semester in new premises

Representatives of the University of Ostrava ceremonially took over from our company the newly reconstructed Medical Faculty. A modern workplace for CZK 300 million will serve students of medicine, a programme that the university opened only 4 years ago. 

 21.10.2014 - HOCHTIEF CZ has been declared as a safe enterprise for the fifth time

The “Safe Enterprise” certificate of was taken over from the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Mgr. Michaela Marksová-Tominová and the general inspector of the State Labour Inspection Office Mgr. Ing. Rudolf Hahn by representatives of the company HOCHTIEF CZ. So the company has again demonstrated that occupational safety is in the most closely monitored areas in the life of the company.  

 16.10.2014 - Signature of the contract has launched the construction of a centre of robotics of the Czech Technical University for CZK 1.18 billion

On 15th October, the contract was signed between the Czech Technical University in Prague and the winner of the public tender procedure for construction of the Czech Institute of informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics of the total value of CZK 1.18 billion. The contract was signed at 4:30 PM in the Bethlehem Chapel (Betlémské Square 4, Prague 1). 

 4.10.2014 - These were the doors open days in Prague and Ostrava

The first Saturday in October was marked by two doors open days on projects of our company. In Ostrava-Vítkovice, the Municipal Stadium that is under reconstruction was opened to the public and in Prague the metro station Nemocnice Motol that is being finished.

 26.9.2014 - Pavilion of Surgery Disciplines in Frýdek-Místek welcomed the visit from the City Hall

Although approximately nine months remain to completion of the new pavilion, the construction already attracts the attention of the public and state administration. Nor the city representatives have missed the visit of the imposing building under construction with its dominant feature – rooftop heliport. 

 15.9.2014 - The town of Litomyšl received back its keys to the Castle Hill

The event of the century, as some observers have called it, is over. On Sunday 14th September, the symbolic eleven keys to all eleven buildings in the reconstructed area were handed over back to the town from the construction company HOCHTIEF CZ that ensured a complete reconstruction of eleven buildings in the Castle Hill in Litomyšl. A large part of the UNESCO site comes back to life after more than three years of reconstructions and will again serve the public.
