Description:

Colleagues from our subsidiary HOCHTIEF SK signed an agreement with the National Motorway Company (NDS) to build a section of the R3 Tvrdošín - Nižná expressway in the Orava region. The price for the implementation of the almost five-kilometer Tvrdošín bypass is over 62 million euros and will be financed from the Slovak state budget. The construction will take about two and a half years. The work will be carried out by a consortium of companies in which HOCHTIEF SK is the leading participant. Since the handover of the construction site, we must hand over this work in exactly 882 days. After commissioning, 6,500 vehicles per day should pass through the new R3 section.

The construction of the new expressway includes approximately 100 buildings, 14 bridges and more than 2,000 meters of noise barriers. It is expected that up to 300 workers will work on the construction site at peak times.
