State-of-the-art facility opened in Prague

The Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics in Prague was officially opened today. The opening was attended by the President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman  and by the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Bohuslav Sobotka.

The new building that will now house one of the most advanced faculties of the Czech Technical University was constructed by HOCHTIEF CZ and completed in November 2016. It is notable for its ETFE facade (same technology was used on the Allianz Arena in Munich), which has been used for the first time in the Czech Republic in such large-scale project.
