Proceeds of the employee fundraiser reach their beneficiaries

The wave of solidarity that rose across the Czech Republic after the natural disaster was enormous. And the financial contributions in the transparent accounts were similarly large. The tornado came at a time when there is a shortage of much-needed building materials. So instead of simply transferring the proceeds of the fundraiser to one of the nonprofit transparent accounts, we decided to take it a step further. We took advantage of our market position and used the proceeds to source and purchase materials for building construction. Thus, last week 1,764 Ytong blocks arrived in the village of Hrušky on a semi-trailer. A huge thank you to all our employees, who proved for the second time in a short time that solidarity is not just an empty phrase for them.
