One year has passed since we started building Prague's new subway line

It's been a year since our company began the construction of the first section of metro D between future Pankrác and Olbrachtova stations.

Currently, a total of 1.6 kilometres of tunnels have been laid. The first 520 metres of the tunnels were created during geological surveys and the contractors, a consortium of Subterra, HOCHTIEF CZ and STRABAG, have driven more than a kilometre, exactly 1,082 metres, since the start of construction. Of this, our company has travelled more than 700 metres and is currently just 27 metres from the future Olbrachtova station.
