We will build a new central fire station in Šumperk

The Contract was signed by the Fire Rescue Service Director of the Olomouc Region col. Ing. Karel Kolářík with representatives of the Contractor HOCHTIEF CZ a. s., Division Building Moravia. The company HOCHTIEF CZ a. s. will perform both the demolition of the existing fire station and construction of the new one too. Price of the Work will amount to CZK 97,365,947.04 excl. VAT. On July 14, 2015 the construction site will be handed over to the Contractor with the fact that the expected construction period is 420 days from the date of handover of the construction site.

Construction of the new fire station and residence of the Regional Department of Šumperk will be performed in the existing premises on Nemocniční Street in Šumperk. In the first stage the demolition of all the existing buildings will be performed and subsequently at the same location an adequate facility will be constructed for the fire protection unit, garages of the fire-fighting equipment, workshops of special services, i.e. machinery, chemical, technical and connecting, facilities for performance of the state administration, warehouse of humanitarian aid material, etc.

Preparation of the entire project was commenced already in 2013. Some time ago, the unit and administration of the Regional Department of Šumperk had to leave the existing premises and during the implementation period of the project it has to fully operate in temporary conditions.
