The scheme My day of dreams was started on April 4th, 2007, by announcement of the conditions and invitation of children’s homes and social welfare institutions to participate in the mentioned activity. Since then the pictures with the theme My dream house, picturing the house where children would like to live one day, started to come. Accompanying the picture there was their comment why they drew the picture the way they did. Majority of the comments contained a sad sentence explaining that „I would like to live in a house like this one day with my family, as that is something I never had“. But many original declarations appeared too, as for example:
"My dream house is the magic mill which can fulfil all my wishes." Lukáš S., 12 years
"My dream house is such a place in the world, which is safe as a tortoise shell." Anna P., 14 years
"I would like to have a house like a flying bed, so that I could travel all around the world comfortably." Veronika R., 16 years
"I drew this picture because I would like to become a fairy and live in a mushroom house." Marek H., 10 years

The winners will receive a reward from the joint-stock company HOCHTIEF CZ, fulfilling thus the aim of the project My day of dreams. From the list of five possible all-day activities they will select the one they find most interesting and will enjoy it together with representatives of the joint-stock company HOCHTIEF CZ and celebrities from the world of culture. Additionally, they will be able to choose something they have been dreaming of or something they long for, in the value of 5 thousand CZK. The trips will be organized during holidays so that the children would not miss the school lessons.
The project will have its follow-up this year: construction divisions of the joint-stock company HOCHTIEF CZ will, by agreement with selected children’s homes, start to execute minor construction repairs of these facilities, for which the homes lack finances. The activity called My day of dreams will thus provide another value, one which a strong company can provide in places lacking funds.

The proposed project called My day of dreams has become, after support of architecture and quality music, the third part of the company sponsoring, focused on supporting social and humanitarian sphere.

Why children? They are the future of this world and it is for them that the joint-stock company HOCHTIEF CZ builds schools and kindergartens and subsequently apartments, workplaces and entertainment facilities. And why children´s homes? Because all children have the right to dream and imagine what their dream day should look like. Dreams of children should not remain unfulfilled.
