Signature of the contract has launched the construction of a centre of robotics of the Czech Technical University for CZK 1.18 billion
On 15th October, the contract was signed between the Czech Technical University in Prague and the winner of the public tender procedure for construction of the Czech Institute of informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics of the total value of CZK 1.18 billion. The contract was signed at 4:30 PM in the Bethlehem Chapel (Betlémské Square 4, Prague 1).
Společnost HOCHTIEF CZ a VCES zrekonstruují a dostaví budovu současné Technické menzy v ulici Jugoslávských partyzánů v Praze 6 a paralelně přilehlou novostavbu o deseti nadzemních a třech podzemních patrech.
Vznikne tak přibližně čtyřicet tisíc metrů čtverečních moderních prostor, a to především jako sídlo vznikajícího vysokoškolského ústavu ČVUT sdružujícího excelentní vědu napříč informatickými obory – Českého institutu informatiky, robotiky a kybernetiky. Prostory budou sloužit také dalším součástem ČVUT.
