The picture of the tram-route to the Prague district Barrandov became the winning photograph in the category Remarkable contemporary projects in a contest announced by the association CZECH TOP 100 together with the weekly Euro and the company OLYMPUS.
27.2.2006 - Soups and Desserts under the Roof
At the north-western boundary of Zásmuky there is a land of a roughly triangular shape with production and storage facilities of Hügli Food s.r.o. The joint-stock company HOCHTIEF VSB began to expand the storage capacity by constructing new buildings in November last year. The project is carried out by the Division 8 managed by Pavel Flaška, Site Manager.
27.2.2006 - Scandecor in Need of a New Hall
The joint-stock company HOCHTIEF VSB, Traffic Infrastructure Projects Division (former Division 9) acting as General Contractor started to build a storage hall in Lety u Dobřichovic.
24.2.2006 - Reconstruction of the Facilities of the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic and General Staff of the Army of the Czech Republic Has Started
These days, the reconstruction works on the buildings of the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic and the General Staff of the Army of the Czech Republic in Prague are starting. HOCHTIEF VSB is the general contractor for this work, having been selected in a public tender.
23.2.2006 - We Have Been Awarded the Golden Certificate
The joint-stock company HOCHTIEF VSB has been lately awarded the Golden Certificate of Integrated Management System from the certification body STAVCERT Prague.
21.2.2006 - Industrial Zone Will be Built in Řevnice
Similarly like other towns in the Czech Republic, also Řevnice near Prague will have its industrial zone – the one of Řevnice will be called “ Cihelna” (Brickworks). First, however, it is necessary to prepare the utility networks and roads and only then the construction of individual halls and other facilities may follow.
20.2.2006 - Successful EMS Recertification
At the end of last week, the certification authority Stavcert audited our systems of quality management, environmental protection and occupational health and safety. The auditors investigated some workplaces at divisions and concentrated on selected procedures at service level, repair shop and completion of the apartment house project U Trojice in České Budějovice. The auditors continued their investigation in Prague as well, where they particularly checked the headquarters´ system processes.
15.2.2006 - Another Waste Water Treatment Plant under construction
In recent years, it is possible to invest in reconstruction of waste water treatment plants and sewage systems in Czech towns, thanks to financial contributions of the European Union in particular. One of those projects started last year in a community of Sedlec-Prčice.
1.2.2006 - Petr Parléř Awards are handed out
The results of the third annual Petr Parléř Awards, which are awarded for original architectonic solution of public premises, were announced on January 25th, in Valdštejnský palace in Prague. This is an event supported by HOCHTIEF VSB due to the opportunity to take part in shaping of Czech cities.
31.1.2006 - New coat for Farmstead Šafránka
Those who cannot imagine apartments in an original fourteenth century farmstead should visit Šafránka. HOCHTIEF VSB division 8 recently finished the reconstruction of this farmstead and according to the design by Arch. Václav Lukas transformed it to interesting apartments for demanding owners.
