The prestigious annual FOR ARCH fair, now in its 16th year, is to open its doors to visitors at the exhibition centre in Letňany, Prague, 20th – 24th September 2005. The construction company HOCHTIEF VSB will be present once again at this highly important trade fair for the construction industry. Their stand will be in hall 2, section C12.

2.9.2005 - HOCHTIEF VSB realizes reconstruction of the street Tovární in Český Krumlov
Reconstruction of the street Tovární is in progress in the industrial zone in Český Krumlov (it is a connecting road between the ring crossing on the road 1/34 and road Přísečná – Srnín). The project investor is the town Český Krumlov, investment volume amounts to app. 57 mil. CZK. The project general contractor is the company HOCHTIEF VSB.
1.9.2005 - The New General Director of HOCHTIEF VSB is Tomáš Bílek
On September 1st, 2005, Ing. Tomáš Bílek was appointed a member of the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF VSB a.s. He was concurrently elected the Chairman of the Executive Board of the company. Mr. Bílek is replacing Ing. Václav Matyáš, who after his departure from the executive managerial position acts as the President of Associated Builder’s Union.
29.8.2005 - HOCHTIEF VSB will support the Imperial procession of Charles IV.
In commemoration of the 650th anniversary of the coronation of Charles IV, a large tour will take pace on September 4th, 2005. This procession from Vyšehrad to the Prague Castle will be led by the Emperor Charles IV. and his wife Anna Svidnická.
23.8.2005 - HOCHTIEF VSB obtained the Nomination for Title Building of the Year 2005
For the thirteenth time in a row, best constructions executed in the Czech Republic attempted to receive the public, non-anonymous award Construction of the Year. HOCHTIEF VSB traditionally participates in this prestigious competition and this year enters the competition with the grand project of National Integrated Air Traffic Control Center (IATCC) in Jeneč close to Prague.

The company HOCHTIEF VSB won the tender for construction of a production hall of the company Siemens in Mohelnice.
