Railways

The Traffic Infrastructure Division is able to implement earth works on earth formations and the railway subbase, including drainage, through its own capacities, and then secures works on the railway track superstructure via subcontractors.

The division shares in the reconstruction and modernisation of railway tracks.

  • The first contract in this segment was the reconstruction of the railway lines at the Nové Hrady railway station, which was a part of the construction for Electrification of the railway route České Budějovice – České Velenice. The Traffic Infrastructure Division performed works through its own capacities on the replacement of the railway subbase, i.e. the earth formation and the ballast bed. Works took place in the period from May to October last year.
  • Another contract is the Modernisation of the railway section Libeň – Běchovice, which was commenced in 2007 and shall continue until 2009.

The company has trained employees for managing works on the railway subbase and superstructure (F01) and for managing works on railway bridges, constructions similar to bridges and tunnels (F02).
