Bridges

The Traffic Infrastructure Division offers implementation of smaller reinforced concrete bridge structures and supporting walls, as well as large span bridges.

  • Large constructions include the bridge across the Lochkov valley, which is a part of the Road circuit around Prague on the “514” section. This is a motorway five span bridge, with a total length of 460 metres and a height of 64 metres. The bridge is statically designed as a multiple-bay frame with oblique supports by the main span (strut frame). The supporting construction is a composite reinforced concrete single-chamber construction with a constant height, jointly for both driving lanes, a reinforced concrete bridge deck supported tubular spurs. The entire substructure is from reinforced concrete, monolithic reinforced concrete box buttresses, shallow foundation, monolithic reinforced concrete pillars with an articulated shaft, deep foundation on pile grill, chamber reinforced concrete monolithic oblique supports of the strut frame, angle of supports 570 from horizontal, deep foundation on diaphragm walls.
  • At present the division also has an order for a smaller reinforced concrete bridge construction and culverts on the construction for Modernisation of the railway section Libeň – Běchovice.
